PRIVACY POLICY
New Lands Consulting LLC
Effective date: August 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how New Lands Consulting LLC (“New Lands Consulting,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information in connection with our website, consulting services, payment flows, communications, and online communities.
This U.S.-oriented policy replaces the Russian-law-specific privacy policy for New Lands Consulting LLC. It is intended to describe actual business practices; it should be updated if the Company’s vendors, website tracking, marketing practices, or data uses change.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to personal information we collect from clients, prospective clients, website visitors, people who communicate with us, and authorized representatives in connection with https://datamentor.tech/landing and our consulting services.
It does not govern third-party websites, payment processors, messaging platforms, videoconferencing providers, or other services that operate under their own privacy policies.
2. Personal Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Identifiers and contact information, such as name, email address, telephone number, and other account identifiers;
- Transaction and commercial information, such as services purchased, invoices, payment status, payment method metadata supplied by a payment processor, and refund or billing history;
- Professional and career information, such as resume/CV information, work history, skills, interview information, employment or contractor offers, compensation information, and job-search progress;
- Communications and service content, such as messages, questions, files, assignments, feedback, meeting notes, and information you choose to share during consulting;
- Account and access information used to provide materials, communities, or online services;
- Device, browser, log, and usage information that may be collected automatically by our website or service providers, such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, timestamps, referring pages, and approximate location derived from IP address;
- Cookie and similar-technology data, where such technologies are used; and
- Other information you voluntarily provide that is reasonably relevant to the Services.
We do not intentionally request Social Security numbers, full payment-card numbers, biometric identifiers, health information, precise geolocation, or other highly sensitive information unless genuinely necessary and lawfully handled. Payment-card details are generally collected directly by the payment processor rather than by us.
3. Sources of Personal Information
We collect information directly from you; from your authorized representative; automatically through our website and online services; from payment, communications, analytics, hosting, and other service providers; and, where relevant to the Services, from information you ask us to review or from publicly available professional sources.
4. How We Use Personal Information
We may use personal information to:
- provide, personalize, administer, and improve the Services;
- create or manage access to materials, meetings, chats, and communities;
- communicate with you and respond to requests;
- process payments, invoices, refunds, and success-based fees;
- verify performance milestones or compensation where relevant to an agreed fee structure;
- maintain business, accounting, tax, and transaction records;
- protect the security and integrity of our systems, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our agreements;
- comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests;
- analyze website and service usage and improve functionality; and
- send marketing communications where permitted by law, with the ability to opt out where required.
We will not use personal information for materially different purposes without appropriate notice or consent when required by law.
5. Legal Bases and U.S. Privacy Framework
U.S. privacy obligations vary by state and by the nature and scale of a business. We process personal information as necessary to provide requested Services, perform contracts, comply with law, protect legitimate business and security interests, and based on consent where consent is legally required.
Where a state comprehensive privacy law applies to us and to your information, we will honor the rights and obligations required by that law. Nothing in this Policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
6. How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients for the purposes described above:
- payment processors and financial-service providers;
- cloud hosting, website, database, file-storage, and IT providers;
- email, messaging, videoconferencing, community, and customer-support platforms;
- analytics and security providers;
- contractors and professional advisers who support the Services or Company operations;
- government authorities, courts, regulators, or other parties when disclosure is required or permitted by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or security; and
- a buyer, successor, affiliate, or other relevant party in connection with an actual or proposed merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of the business.
We do not sell personal information for money. If our practices ever constitute a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under an applicable U.S. state privacy law, we will provide any required notice and opt-out mechanism before or when required.
7. Cookies, Analytics, and Online Tracking
Our website or the platform on which it is hosted may use cookies, pixels, logs, local storage, analytics tools, or similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, understand traffic, and improve performance.
The exact technologies may be controlled in part by our website host and third-party providers. Where legally required, we will provide consent or opt-out controls. Browser-level signals such as Global Privacy Control will be honored when and to the extent required by applicable law.
We do not currently promise to respond to legacy browser “Do Not Track” signals unless required by law, because there is no single universally adopted DNT standard.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing Services, maintaining business and tax records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and complying with legal obligations.
Retention periods vary by data type and context. We may retain transaction and contract records longer than routine communications where reasonably necessary for legal, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the personal information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We expect service providers that process personal information on our behalf to protect it consistently with applicable law and contractual obligations where appropriate.
10. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live and whether a particular law applies, you may have rights to request access to, confirmation of, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information; to opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling; to withdraw consent for certain processing; and to appeal a denied privacy request.
To make a privacy request, email newlandsconsultingllc@proton.me with the subject line “Privacy Request.” Please describe the request and provide enough information for us to reasonably verify your identity and locate the relevant records. We may request additional verification where permitted by law.
We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law, subject to verification and proof of authority.
11. California Privacy Disclosures
California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, if the law applies to New Lands Consulting LLC in the relevant context. Those rights may include rights to know/access, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and receive non-discriminatory treatment.
Separately, California’s online privacy rules may require operators of commercial websites that collect personally identifiable information from California consumers to conspicuously post a privacy policy. This Policy is intended to provide transparent notice of our online practices.
We do not currently sell personal information for money. If we engage in practices legally treated as sale or sharing, we will update this Policy and provide legally required controls.
12. Delaware Privacy Disclosures
The Delaware Personal Data Privacy Act may apply to certain businesses that meet statutory thresholds and are not exempt. If it applies to us and your information, Delaware consumers may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, and certain opt-outs, and we will process applicable requests as required by law.
We seek to follow the core privacy principles of transparency, data minimization, reasonable security, and accountability regardless of whether a particular statutory threshold applies.
13. Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 without legally required parental consent. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and address the situation.
For teenagers or other minors, additional consent or privacy requirements may apply depending on jurisdiction and the specific processing activity.
14. International Users and Cross-Border Processing
New Lands Consulting LLC is a U.S. company and may use service providers located in the United States and other countries. If you provide personal information from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries with different privacy laws.
If a non-U.S. privacy regime applies to a particular processing activity, we will take steps required by that law. This Policy is primarily drafted for U.S. operations and is not, by itself, a substitute for any separate GDPR, UK GDPR, or other jurisdiction-specific notice that may be required.
15. Third-Party Services
Our Services may rely on or link to third-party services such as payment processors, videoconferencing tools, cloud storage, analytics providers, or website-hosting platforms. Those third parties process information under their own terms and privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.
We are not responsible for third parties’ independent privacy practices, except to the extent applicable law makes us responsible for a service provider acting on our behalf.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised effective date. If required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent for material changes.
